On Sunday, July 19, the Church commemorated the Holy Fathers of the First Six Ecumenical Councils — the saints who defended and transmitted to us the Apostolic faith. Fittingly, on this same day, we rejoiced as Jesse was received into that same faith through the mystery of Chrismation! On Sunday, July 5, we had the great joy of witnessing the holy baptisms of two of our catechumens: Ian (who has taken as his heavenly patron St. John the Theologian) and Trinity who has taken as her name and heavenly patron St. Agnes of Rome. Alleluia!

We give glory to God for the Chrismations of Ken and Kellie McCord on the Fourth Sunday after Pascha (May 3, 2026)! In this sacrament, the Seal of the Gift of the Holy Spirit is imparted on the candidates who have received absolution of their sins and who are united to the Holy Orthodox Church. On the 3rd Sunday of Pascha, the Church commemorates the Holy Myrrhbearing Women. We had the joy of baptizing Edward. “As many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Alleluia!” After a beautiful Divine Liturgy, we had our fifth annual blood drive. 29 red blood cell units were collected. We also welcomed 7 first-time donors.
